| Description: The ambition was to create a Carbon Neutral Highway Maintenance Facilities that would set a new benchmark for other government funded facilities in NJ. We looked to building orientation, passive and active solar power, as well as constructed wetlands to meet our power consumption, pollution control and waste management goals. I facilitated the design and documentation of early concept schemes, and was specifically responsible for site grading that channeled drainage into wetlands, as well as to use ETFE as a substitute for low iron glass to improve yield on solar roof panels. |
